Analysis and Concept Design

HDA firmly believes that, along with client aspirations, design work should respond to a site’s unique constraints and opportunities. Early project involvement allows us to provide landscape advice that can improve the overall site design; ensuring proposals have the best chance of obtaining planning consent. Site analysis underpins much of our landscape planning work and is critical for all landscape designs.

Following site analysis, concept designs are produced to help communicate our ideas to the client, design team and planners. Conceptual plans allow us to integrate feedback and ideas into a design prior to the production of detailed drawings. Our illustrative landscape plans are often hand drawn, making them accessible and attractive to a wide audience.
