WENHASTON

HDA prepared a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) for a proposed wind turbine near the village of Wenhaston in Suffolk, which contains a number of listed buildings.

Government guidance sets out that when determining planning applications for renewable energy projects, the impacts of the proposed development on the historic environment should be considered. As part of an integrated approach to demonstrate the harm which would result from the proposed scheme, HDA prepared a specialist heritage report to accompany its LVIA, identifying and describing the significance of heritage assets in the area and assessing the impact the proposals would have on those assets by virtue of development within their settings.
