At Wellington College in Berkshire, HDA carried out ecological assessments to BREEAM guidelines for proposed development within the college estate, and subsequently prepared a management plan in line with BREEAM land use and ecology criteria, including:
- Management of protected features within the sites;
- Management of new, existing and enhanced habitats;
- Reference to the current or future site level or local Biodiversity Action Plan; and
- Proposed site plans highlighting new ecologically valuable habitat created in association with each development.
