SIBLY HALL WOODLAND

The site owned by the University of Reading, currently comprises student accommodation, outbuildings and car park, along with an area of ancient semi-natural woodland known as Redhatch Copse. Part of the site has planning permission to be redeveloped into residential development.
HDA coordinated the university's 'green team' in the preparation of a management plan to maintain and enhance the biodiversity of the site, contribute to locally important biodiversity targets identified in the 2002 Wokingham Biodiversity Action Plan, and provide and manage access for local people to enjoy the woodland.
