By Car: Howbery Park is located approximately 10 miles south of Oxford and 10 miles north of Reading on the A4074. It is well located for the M4 and M40 motorways and also for the A34 Newbury to Oxford road. From the A4074, at the Crowmarsh Gifford roundabout, turn towards Crowmarsh Gifford and Wallingford noting signs for SODC (South Oxfordshire District Council). Follow "The Street" to a mini roundabout and turn right (again following signs for SODC, into Benson Lane. Pass SODC to your left, and continue past CEH Wallingford until you reach the (signposted) turning into Howbery Park. Continue down the main drive to The Stables buildings. Park in the carpark between The Stables and Puddleduck Nursery.

By public transport: Howbery Park is 7 miles from Didcot Parkway railway station and 4.5 miles from Cholsey station. First Great Western operates express train services to Didcot from London Paddington, Reading, Oxford, Bristol and The West. There are also local train services to Cholsey from Oxford and Reading.
